The Transnational Family Research Institute (TFRI) conducts theoretical and empirical research into a broad range of 
bio-psychosocial issues related to both individual and dyadic human reproductive behaviors. 

It is a 501(c)(3) organization, whose Board of Directors.pdf  meets annually.

TFRI MISSION STATEMENT

  To create and disseminate new knowledge about human reproductive and family planning
    behaviors, with a focus on the motivational antecedents to those behaviors.   

  To encourage both domestic and international research initiatives through collaborative interaction
    and cooperative effort among like-minded scientists.

   To establish and maintain an information-based website that provides access to current and archived
    research of TFRI investigators, as well as links to the work of other scientists with related interests.

   To provide-through collaboration and mentoring-a research environment that fosters the creativity 
    and interdependence of investigators with diverse psychological, biological, and dyadic perspectives at all  
    stages of their research careers.
